Tavi Veraldi is a queer artist based in Chicago. She spends most of her time illustrating, taking the bus to the movies, thinking about Joan Crawford, and trying to dry out every Sharpie she owns. When her head isn’t buried in a sketchbook, it’s behind a 50-year-old camera, experimenting with film photography and winding through reels with the Chicago Film Society. In a past life, she has worked as a graphic designer for Michigan Tech Research Institute and UW–Milwaukee, and as a freelance illustrator for over 15 years.
